Randy Newton is a partner with NewtonGreene & Associates. He is the founder of the company and has been the president of Newton, Greene & Associates since 1999. Randy’s area of expertise is the utilization of a pro-active tax planning model that streamlines, simplifies and works to reduce tax liabilities for small businesses. In addition, he specializes in tax research with a focus on SC and NC state and local issues.
Prior to founding of NewtonGreene, Randy worked with First Union National Bank for 5 years in their Corporate Accounting and Capital Markets Division. Randy graduated and received his Accounting degree, Cum Laude, from Appalachian State University in 1992. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. Mr. Newton is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). Randy, his wife Ann, and son Chandler currently reside in Tega Cay, SC. He is an active member of Myers Park Presbyterian Church in Charlotte, NC. Randy is an Eagle Scout of Boy Scouts of America.

J. Todd Greene, CPA

Todd Greene is a partner with NewtonGreene & Associates. He joined the firm in 2003 as the individual income and estate tax specialist. He brings a wealth of expertise to the firm. His strengths include advanced individual income tax issues, estate and gift tax planning, and family succession planning. In addition, he specializes in business valuations. Prior to joining NewtonGreene & Associates, Todd was working as an individual income taxation and small business planning specialist for a CPA firm in Alabama, as well as having worked as a staff accountant for Yeager & Boyd CPA firm. His areas of expertise included individual taxation, stock option planning, estate tax, fiduciary tax, and business valuation.
Todd graduated and received his Accounting and Finance degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1999. Mr. Greene is a member of the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA). Todd holds licenses to practice in NC and AL. Todd, his wife Geneva, and three sons Garris, Jonathan, and Mark currently reside in Charlotte, NC. Todd is an active member of Saint Matthews Catholic Church and a member of The Knights of Columbus, a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society.
